The creator of a rug will provide the precious materials, fine wool – silk, will study the intricate designs, will choose the colors. He will start, building knot knot another unique work of art tying about 8,000 knots a day. When he is finished, his hands will have tightened several million knots, after weaving, cutting and then washing in the gargling mountain anavras. This whole production process can take from a few months to years depending on the density and size. Like any real work of art, a rug is literally unique, no design is repeated. Craftsmen are accustomed to saying the design is the soul of the rug. There are no two identical souls anywhere in the world. The designers are inspired by the old traditional patterns, creating new, completely different designs in wonderful color combinations, which are contemporary works of art.
